*Spokane Community Garden Alliance (SCGA) beds are $25 for the season which lasts from May through September. Or if you’re simply looking for a volunteer opportunity, there is always a need for help keeping up with weeds and watering to maintain beds. The SCGA raises produce for those in need in the Spokane community

LOWER SOUTH HILL BLOCK PARTY

Many volunteer opportunities big and small. Block Party planning starts in March. The Block Party is held on the third Saturday of September. [Please See Block Party section]

JUNE PICNIC

Held at Polly Judd Park A “Meet and Greet Potluck Picnic” that needs basic set up and clean-up.

SNACK AND STROLL:

Volunteers arrange a different Neighborhood walking tour every year, usually in late Spring.

HOLIDAY PARTY/DECEMBER MEETING:

Volunteers arrange for cookies and tea.

FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHRISTMAS TOY STORE:

Volunteers bring 12 dozen homemade cookies on the Friday before the Toy Store opens. First Presbyterian Christmas Toy Store
